Battora publishes work intended to inform and serve Africa's creative class. Editorial decisions should be based on relevance, accuracy, originality, and reader value. Advertising relationships do not determine editorial conclusions.

Writers and editors should use reliable first-hand material, interviews, primary documents, and reputable reporting where available. Factual claims, names, dates, quotations, images, and credits should be checked before publication. Sources should be attributed or linked when that helps readers verify a claim.

Articles should identify the responsible writer or editorial team. Battora may use artificial intelligence and other automation for research assistance, transcription, outlines, drafting, editing, or production. Substantive automated work must receive human review for accuracy, originality, rights, tone, and usefulness before publication. Automation must not be used to mass-publish copied, deceptive, or low-value pages.

Company or brand submissions, commissioned work, sponsored material, and other commercial relationships must be clearly disclosed to readers. Paid access does not guarantee favourable coverage. Press Office content remains subject to Battora's review, rights checks, and content standards.

Creator profiles, listings, events, films, portfolios, and other submissions may be created by users. Submitters remain responsible for accuracy and rights. Battora may review, restrict, label, reject, or remove material that violates our Terms, applicable law, safety standards, or advertising policies.

We aim to correct material errors promptly and transparently. Requests should identify the article, disputed statement, and supporting evidence. Editorial corrections, rights concerns, or complaints can be sent to hello@battora.com.
